What Makes a Successful Church Technology Team?

The best church tech teams aren't necessarily the ones with the most talented operators.

They're the teams where people want to serve.

Build a culture people want to serve in

Expectations are clear. Training is available. Schedules are reasonable. Volunteers know why their role matters.

Nobody is publicly embarrassed when they make a mistake.

Strong volunteers are encouraged to teach newer volunteers.

Communication happens before Sunday morning.

And the entire ministry doesn't depend on one person knowing everything.

Technical excellence matters. Culture matters more.

You can teach somebody how to operate a camera.

It is much harder to rebuild a volunteer ministry after people decide serving there is miserable.

Build people while you build production quality.

The two goals are not in conflict.
