How to Integrate New Technology Into Your Worship Service

Don't install new technology on Saturday and teach everybody Sunday morning.

We know that sounds obvious. It happens anyway.

New equipment changes workflows.

Test the workflow and train the people

Even when the new system is technically easier, people need time to develop confidence.

Build it. Configure it. Test it. Create templates. Train the team. Run rehearsals.

If possible, operate the new workflow in parallel with the old one before completely depending on it.

Most importantly, explain why the change is happening.

People are much more receptive to a new process when they understand the problem it solves.

Technology adoption is a people project as much as a technical one.

Treat it that way.
